  2. We are neighbors friend…I’m glad you are ok and I hope your family is as well. We did not experience any damage in our area but it’s so sad to see some of the devastation around the state. Wonderful quote and reminder for such a time. Thanks for sharing!

    • Oh, it’s wonderful to hear that we’re neighbors. I’m so glad to hear that you and your family are okay. We’re okay, too. But it’s so heartbreaking to see the devastation nearby.

  3. Oh no! Keeping you and yours in my thoughts.

My hometown (which I now live 4 hours away from) had horrible flooding two years ago. I was just there last month, and some places are still damaged and not touched. It breaks my heart, and I hate that more people, you included, have to endure this.

    • Thanks so much, Pam! We didn’t experience any damage where we live. But communities close by were affected and it’s so heartbreaking to see the devastation. We’ve been hearing that it could take a few years before roads and homes are rebuilt. Fortunately there are many opportunities for us to help out, both financially and by volunteering. I’m so sorry to hear about your hometown.
