Simple to prepare, these oven baked fries took center stage at our holiday meal. They didn’t last long.

Ingredients
2largesweet potatoes
1 ½tspgarlic powder
1 ½ tsponion powder
1 ½tsppaprika
1tspsea salt
¼tspground black pepper
Dash or two ofcayenne pepper
1 ½TBSPolive oil or melted coconut oil
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400 ° F.
Cut sweet potatoes into long thin wedges. Place on cookie sheet.
In a small bowl, mix together spices. Pour oil and sprinkle spices over sweet potato wedges. Toss wedges until well coated with oil and spices.
Bake in oven for 30 minutes. Remove from cookie sheet and serve immediately.
Notes
For those with kids who don’t like spicy dishes: The fries were a bit too spicy for my son. So next time I make them, I’ll probably divide the wedges into two batches—seasoning one with cayenne and the other without it.
